• A very important thing to keep in mind is that you are visiting rural area powered by MSEB. Alibag and around experiences load shedding every Tuesday, between 10 am - 6 pm . This date may change to any other day by MSEB. There is voltage fluctuation any time without notice and electronics stop functioning to the fullest capacity and replacing them often takes time. We have absolutely no control over such situations However we have inverter power back up which will provide basic lights. While we do everything in our power to ensure everything goes smoothly occasional issues arise due to these unforeseen events being rural area. We advise switching off ACs while you are away. Keep door close when A\Cs are on. Electricity is on premium.
• You are not visiting a Hotel , Resort but visiting someone’s private property and treat it with the utmost respect. We try to give you a feeling of combo of home stay in a country farm and trip away from concrete jungle with home cook food prepared in our kitchen. The owner has put lot of efforts ,time, finance made to the taste for their personal stay also. Consider the next arriving guests must also enjoy with the same amenities.
• Don’t go out to the garden in the evening, not even to explore the plantation area. It is recommended you don’t venture out of the lawn area in the property at night.
• Please note that guests cannot hire or bring any outside vendor for any events at the property.
• External DJs and live music is not permitted.
• Please be mindful and keep noise and music to minimum during your all time stay. In consideration of peaceful village and quite area guests are urged not to disturb the neighbourhood with loud conversation and music. Certainly, no loud music after 10 Pm as per the local regulation.
• There are CCTV cameras that capture the external areas for security purposes.
• This home is located amidst nature. While all precautions are taken to ensure a comfortable stay, insects here are fairly common. Between 5.30 pm to 8 pm mosquitos are dense. All rooms are equipped with mosquito repellents Guests are advised to keep all the doors and windows shut during the evenings as a preventive measure for bugs and insects at the property due to its location.
• The caretaker stays in the outhouse which is on the premises of the property and will be available from 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Farm is thick forestation with green foliage and about 300 trees of coconut, supari , mangoes and rest. It is best advised not to leave Children alone but be supervised while they are in or around the pool and garden.
• Park your car only at the designated spot which is clear of the coconut drop area. Do not park below coconut tree.
• For a memorable family bonding experience and a refreshing digital detox, there are no TVs in the villa and rooms. It the best occasion to spend quality time with your loved ones, family and children.
• Living room of villa Anandamay is not equipped with AC.
• Guests can stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi. Network is subject to availability.
• This is not a pet-friendly property.

House Rules

• All-male and female groups are not allowed.
• Alcohol consumption is allowed in designated area. Drink with responsibility with the mind as not to disturb the other guests and the neighbourhood.
• Smoking is allowed in the exterior areas of the villa only. Cigarette buds are to be disposed in the ash-trays only.
• Children must always be supervised while in the pool and otherwise.
• Guests have access to the pool from 8 am to 8 pm
• We urge you to wear swimming attire in the pool and kindly shower before entering.
• Food may not be consumed in the bedrooms.
• Guests are requested to adhere to check-in and check-out timings. We need extra-time to ensure the villas are clean and sanitized for Guest’s stay
• Guests are earnestly requested to treat the home with care.
• Prices may vary subject to availability and peak season rates
• Please also remember to generously tip staff for their hospitality as they keenly await the arrival of guests as their livelihood depends upon it.
• The farm and the swimming pool is personal property of the owner for their pleasure .Guests are allowed to use the pool as home Guest and hence life Guard is not available. Pool is only 4 feet Deep and under no circumstances diving is allowed.
• Accordingly, persons using pool and the farm do so at their own risk and the owner assumes no responsibility for accident or injury. No one should swim alone. Children must be accompanied with seniors. Renters will hold the Owners harmless from any and all bodily injury and/or property damage incurred on the property arising out of Renters’ negligent acts or omissions

Kitchen

• There are 2 kitchens. One within the Anandamay Villa where their Guests have complete access and have the facility of preparing tea,coffee,instant nodules, reheating food and full food. This kitchen is fully equipped.
• Guests of villa can bring their own cooks and ingredients to prepare meals for the group. However, there is no separate accommodation for the cooks , maid and driver but separate bathroom is available. You have to accommodate them with your accommodation.
• Guests will have to make arrangements for groceries, vegetables, non veg. to your choice. The caretaker will not be able to help source the same. You can buy them from close by grocery store. In case the guests need anything except groceries, the caretaker will go to the local market once a day to source the supplies.
• The other free standing inhouse kitchen with sit out cabana is managed by our staff to cater you in case guest do not want to cook and for the guests of Villa 2. This kitchen is restricted only to our staff.

Food

Villa 1 is complemented with a fully functional kitchen with fridge, gas stove, hot water kettle, crockery and utensils. You have full access to the kitchen and facility to prepare meals during your stay. Ingredients can be had from the nearby local store. Vegetables and meat can be purchased by you of your choice from the local market.

As of today we are not catering meals to our guests. However, we have a small menu for the breakfast which can be provided on cost prepared by our staff in our main kitchen and served at the designated area outside the villa between 9 to 10.30 AM. You may order breakfast by 9 am to the lady in the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

We are in the process of setting up in house meal arrangements and will post the same. We can provide some references of locals who prepare food at home and deliver to you. Besides, there are some restaurants arounds.

We understand some guests need early bed tea. We leave ingredients like milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits for Bed Tea to be prepared by the guests to the early hours of the morning. This is not a breakfast but complementary Bed Tea.

• Barbecue kit and charcoal along with Marinated chicken can be provided on cost subject to prior intimation and full payment in advance. We need marination time for 12 hours in order to tenderize it. Guests are required to grill BBQ by themselves.

Policies

• The full payment must be made before check-in for confirmed booking.
• The number of guests must not exceed the count mentioned at the time of booking.
• Only the guests who have been accounted for are allowed at the villa. Personal guests visiting you are not permitted to stay if not booked with you.
• All guests must share valid ID proofs like adhar card, Pan cars, driving licence, passport. This could be at the time of booking, and also upon arrival.
• All foreign nationals must be able to share their passport and visa details prior to their stay.
• Any damage to the property caused by the guest will be charged as per the actual cost of repair or replacement. Guests are advised to inform the caretaker if any damaged is caused. Please do not deprive the ongoing guests from the amenities provided for by pinching items. Towels, napkins\Lenin, glasses, water bottles etc are not allowed to carry on beaches.
• A refundable deposit of Rs.20,000\-may be collected before check-in.
• This entire amount is refunded within 2 working days, provided the total number of guests do not increase and the check-out time is adhered to.
• Any illegal activity - including but not limited to prostitution and the use of narcotics is strictly not permitted.
• Any commercial activity is strictly prohibited.
• Any occasion, celebration or event must be informed in Advance.
• No room services
• All meals at the designated area and within a time frame. Please pick up your requirements from the dining area before you retire.
• No refund at no show. Same are free to sell
• Please secure your valuables and cash. Do not leave the same in room while leaving the room. We do not take any responsibility for the loss of your valuables / cash.
• Do not drink and drive. Be extra cautious while driving. Streets and roads are narrow.
• Cancellation Policies: 31 DAYS and more- 50% refund.
